  • Adel the BRAT

Firstly I'm really pleased that it wasn't only those of us that sponsored Tarabat's kit that felt last night sponsor's evening was a joke.

As there's already a report on how shocking the evening was I will just concentrate on Adel the Brat.

£300 to sponsor his top, which I seriously doubt was ever worn by him & he's too important to be there.
Have I missed something, he is employed & paid handsomely by QPR yet acts like he has nothing to do with the club, behaved like a spoiled child at POTY when he doesn't win-every non playing staff member of QPR thinks he is a disgrace and even his team mates describe him as an EMBARRASSMENT.

There's been a lot of talk about whether the boy is a QPR legend well my response to that is a Legend is someone that not only is a talent on the pitch but a gentleman off it,and that is something our Adel will never be.

I know people that have met Messi and say he is amazing with his fans, always having time for them & he is the best player in the world-Adel you aren't fit to clean his shin pads.....
which leads me on to the pair of shin pads that were presented to a friend who had sponsored them, worn by Adel you must be joking they gave him a £12 pair from the club shop in size junior-for f**ks sake.

So this is QPR-we can't organize a sponsors evening, the star player is a cry baby, the fans are treated like c**ts.

I need to stop writing cos I'm too f**king angry!

One area that QPR are most certainly NOT Premier League is fan relations and PR. Never have been.

Think it is unfair to single Adel out - he doesn't organise this stuff.....but I forgot...seeing as I tried to hide yesterday from the hearing stuff...that this message board can't go two minutes without an anti Adel thread.

PS - stop being a baby.

To be fair, they have other things on their minds.

I'll give you a flip side story of how nice and unselfish Taarabt is when I get the chance.

Personally couldn't care less what he is like with fans as long as he keeps doing the business on the pitch.

What reasons were you given by the club about his non attendance? How about the fact others did'nt stick around?

Whilst I agree it is about what happens on the pitch that is most important, players should always show the respect the fans deserve, especially sponsors, and I am not one.

Sunday evening was great, all the players were on top form and had plenty of time to chat, although the only ones I did'nt get to meet were Adel, Ramage and Warnock, but I guess that was only because I did'nt see them in the bar. The evening was far better than I thought it would be and I even got 5 or 6 of the players and Ishan Shaksena to record video messages thanking my 6 year old for his support, in attempt to get him hooked for life......and I think it has worked, he was well chuffed!

Reasons, there is no need for reasons they all just shrug and say he's Adel what did you expect....

Adel will leave this summer and no one can blame him. He got us promoted, but if he ever looked on a fan site message board like this (doubtful, but possible) - half the threads just #### him off. I would be gone in a flash.

Such a lack of support from the fans, who should show some gratitude - you will help drive him to a different club. To keep a talent like that we would need to really show him he is loved, lots of people here do the opposite, so well done.

Very few top levels footballers are going to care about a sponsored evening, and you need to realise that because its true.

I only care what he does for the club on the pitch, yes they should make an effort with the kids but they live in a different world.

Zesh Rehman was a great credit off the pitch shall we bring him back?????
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

the bloke is arrogant, selfish, spoilt and very immature. The players and management pander to him because of what he can do on the pitch (best player ive seen at Rangers for many years) so i guess we as fans have to as well. TBH i think his relationship with Warnock is the only thing that might keep him here next season.
