Do we fans have a part to play in this Faurlin transfer saga?

W12, I fully understand the point you are making and cannot see for the life of me how it is difficult to comprehend. Whether somebody else agrees with it or not is a different matter entirely.

Paul, I agree entirely with your stance that if you "lie, cheat and deceive" you should expect something to come back and bite you on the backside. However, in relation to "massive expenditure", personally speaking, I would say there has been when taken in context with the club's level of income.

W12's point if I'm not mistaken, is that there was an enormous amount of pressure, not so much at the beginning but also ongoing, for the "tight" Briatore, Ecclestone and then Mittal, to "get their bloody chequebooks out" and this was a way of pretending they had, as the higher wage bill, player expenditure and other things (including chandeliers) that money was being spent on did not seem to be fully appreciated by certain parts of the fanbase.

Still, why not bicker with each other for the sake of it? Particularly when we have had one of the best seasons that some of our fans may ever experience.
