I'd be up for this. No point in playing in them, mentally players will be gone.

These are professional footballers in a business with the potential of a 60 million quid windfall, world wide exposure, new and more lucrative sponsorships, more revenue on match days, a shop window for players, new fans, new ground.
Yeah. Phuck it! Let's get a monk on and take our ball away while we're at it.

Shaun Derry also said it would be devastating.
No matter how much these players earn, this would be a huge body blow and even a manager of NW's ilk wouldn't be able to scrape them up off the ground.
"IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
"
There is so much in that poem which might apply to our players after Friday.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

CHAMPIONES CHAMPIONES OLE OLE OLE.
No way should we accept anything less than what we've earnt. We're the rightful Champions this season, the C next to our name clearly displays so.Everyday Plumbers Bristol

I think fans ought to boycott play-offs; not sure about the team though - they could be further punished for doing that. Be funny to have a play-off match at LR with no home fans and just 1800 away fans in the back of Ellerslie.... make a marveloous spectacle on Sky wouldn't it? I'd be happy for the players to just roll over; not sure they could be proven guilty of anything for doing that.

What a load of tosh.
Obviously the players would be gutted if we were stitched up, but for anyone to seriously think a boycott would then be the better option is talking sh1te.
Our players would be gutted yes, but they know they are the best team by rights, so it would also give them more motivation than anything to want to win and stick two fingers up to the FA as a result.

If anyone thinks anyone will give a toss about us not turning up for the playoffs then they are deluded.
If anything, any sympathy for our plight will go out the window. We'll still be a championship club with less great players, a new manager and owners who care even less.
Still, how good is it to say and think 'No-one likes us, we don't care"? That's something, at least.
