  • Fao THE LEVELLER

You seem to be up to speed on the legalities a lot more than most ...SO.....

Say the worst happens and we do get deducted points which affects us either being promoted or champions ...

Assuming we appeal the verdict ...how much disruption etc can we cause the FA with regards to play off dates , finals , next seasons fixtures etc if we really wanted to ?

Hoping this won't be the case obviously

    Thanks

Massive (how massive would you like) and major disruption because the club could then seek redress at a higher level. Whilst not wanting to get into this pickle I suspect the FA will not want to back down but to punish the club in a punative way. At some point there will be informal talks as to whether an arrangement can be arrived at to avoid the disruption and find a mutually agreed way out. The classic win-win situation. Dont believe we have arrived at that point. Watch out for coded statements.

Got to say that I like that and believe this will be the outcome in the end we all winners but both sides say they won. But the true winners will be us the fans.

          It's Judge John Deed.

He's currently on his lunch break sh@gging the key witness.

As opposed to punishing us in a non-punative way.......

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

As I said when this is over I intend to disappear into the ether. If people dont want to arrive at informed opinons that is down to them and good luck to them.

Cant be ***** with all the bitching I have better things to do.

Just as a quick question to this end, if the worst happened, we appealed and lost, could we then appeal to the Court of Arbitration For Sport?

                        Good question.
And a question I've been wondering about.

I know Flavio knows the way to that place.

Most of the questions assume that we are guilty of something, that yet has to be proven is it not.

unfortunately scarlet a few posters have admitted defeat, biggest shock for me was jeffro who has been raving that we would be just fine and now thinks the opposite

I don't think we should be worrying about such drastic measures.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport makes decisions in this kind of case in relation to international sport. There is also an independent body which can make decisions in relation to issues which simply concern sport within the United Kingdom.

This body is called the Sports Dispute Resolution Panel, but I cant recall whether this is automatic or whether both parties have to agree. But most certainly it would not end with a FA hearing.
