How would someone at county level know anyhting about this case? ...other than what has been written in the press.

Yes, but did the club know what he had done? Why charge him and the club with similar offences? Perhaps there is some grey area here? As mentioned by another poster, perhaps he is to be sacrificed?

No. You can lie to the world what counts is what is in the paperwork and that it was paid to whom it says and not a penny more.

Becuase the FA have consistently shown themselves to be as watertight as a truckers cap?

Have a summer holiday, and then support QPR in the Premier League?

Normally I don't get a lot of time to post on here, but off work last week and this week looking after my son, whilst mother in law who normally looks after him is away!

I wish I was at work this week as I would have something to distract me from this site, Twitter, SSN etc...

I remember you from the England Fans forum which I used to post on a few years back.

                          To clarify, from today's Guardian:

                          Charges QPR face

                          1) Entering contracts with third-party organisations enabling them "materially to influence" the club's policies or its team's performance

                          2) Entering contracts assigning rights to or making payments to a third party in connection with a player transfer

                          3) Providing the FA with allegedly false information in later contract extension documents

                          4) Bringing the game into disrepute

                          5) Using the services of an unauthorised agent

                          Charges Gianni Paladini faces

                          1) Bringing the game into disrepute

                          2) Concealing or misrepresenting the reality and/or substance of matters relating to a transaction or contract negotiation

The claim of falsified paperwork are really the most worrying & baffling, as really there's a finite number of items you can be fabricating, ie, contracts, paper trails etc.

The charges allege the falsification of documents was this season which means that whoever filled out these documents knew the authorities were aware of the situation and would analyse them with a fine toothcomb. To deliberately falsify a document under these conditions would be outrageously arrogant & deceitful.

Surely the onus is on the FA to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was a deliberately deceitful act rather than an oversight.

Well, it's not unusual for company directors to be forced to "fall on their sword" in order to save said company from substantial punishment. I guess there's a precident in there somewhere.

Is the false paperwork anything to do with saying we paid £3.5m?
