  • Just feel sick to my stomach over all this

    It's a joke.
Football is supposed to be a sport, not a battle of lawyers.
The fact that so many people seem to be enjoying it makes me even more sick.. and using it to score points over others.

And Paul Lambert saying his team must focus on saturday, because they might be able to parade the trophy to their fans.
Shaun Derry was close to tears on telly last night, and he's only been with us for a few months.

But the sickest thing of all is the d*ckhead at QPR who caused this, and the FA for clearly trying to nail us so they can flex their muscles and act all hard.

Just f*cking sick, the whole sorry episode.

Goddard - that just about sums it up for me.
As for Lambert to come out and say that - i cannot type what i think of the man but i am sure you can all have a well educated guess. ( begins with c ends with t ).
I look forward to saturday where we can really party and salute the true FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS !!!!

Cant see why people are talking nonsense about Lambert and what would NW say if the roles were reversed with Norwich and would that be ok ? Lambert has every right to say that because it might happen and he is being professional and preparing for it.

All I said was that it is sickening to hear him say that this morning.

I don't blame him for thinking that, but seeing as we won the f*cking thing on saturday, it's a bit sickening to read. No?

Must say I agree with all you say Goddard. But also agree with Paul.
Lambert is well aware they could be champions and thats a whole different presentation and recoginition needed by the club and marketing etc.

He could be a bit more gracious the Sweaty CnT,
when he's trying to take the trophy on a stewards.

QPR's biggest win of the season has to come in the courtroom.

                            Goddard,

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you have said, and PM's view of Lambert.

Personally, I blame the media for all of this with their continuing ill informed comments.

Let's face it, what percentage of football related stories do they ever get right ? Not a day passes unfortunately, when a completely ridiculous and unfounded piece of drivel doesn't hit a back page or news bulletin somewhere. In the absence of much else to talk about, some people just take the lazy route and generally re-hash old thoughts and quotes in an effort to make them look informed. More ITK's in their industry than on all football messageboards combined I would imagine.

The two saddest things for me are the unnecessary anxiety being felt at the moment by not only our fantastic group of hard working and talented players, but also by thousands of our innocent fans. From the usually pragmatic ones like yourself through to those bordering on breakdowns such as the lovely Swanleyhoop.

I say unnecessary, because I just cannot envisage in any way at all, how the FA would have the balls to dish out a points deduction at all, let alone one that makes any difference to the Champions/Promotion picture. Doing so would probably be the beginning of the end for them. Apart from the extremely ungracious people at both Norwich and Cardiff, I have not seen any club or it's fans express the view that it would be a fair outcome. Even for the FA, that would be a step too far, not only because it totally flouts the laws of proportionality, but it would no doubt cause total uproar within football amongst 90 clubs.

Everything will be just fine. It's just such a bloody disgrace that we have to wiat so long to be told that.
