Is it worth heading down to the bush to enjoy the pre match session, watch the game on the box in one of the busy pubs and be there ready for full-time, probably a little more skinned than those at the match! If so, what pubs/establishments would be best to head to?

Seems a good idea, although the only thing I was thinking would be that it might be best to get into the pubs before the fall out from the game begins, as I'm sure they will become too busy to allow some people in soon after people start dispersing. So as a younger R who usually went to games with his dad, what pubs are best for drinking? (not so much prices but the crowd and atmosphere)?

the best would be the white horse but like you said get there before the game and stay there because after you will struggle getting in there! I did after the Hull game last week

White Horse isn't expensive (around £3 per pint) and I'd rather go there than to Walkabout. However I guess wherever you go you will have an outstanding day.

Are the pubs actually showing the game?

Do people really need to ask bods on the internet whether they should go to the pub or not?

My mate bunked in at the hull game and watford away as he didn't have a ticket. Turnstile operators don't seem to care when they 'piggyback'. Sure there will be plenty trying that.you could just wait by the gates and you should be able to wander in for the last 10 mins or so for the celebrations at the end and the trophy!
