  • Taarabt should've got POTY!

Without taking anything away from Kenny who has been magnificent this year, surely Adel has been the shining light for us this season. He entertained us in bucketloads, provided most assists and has scored most goals. Some of his skills have been world class and you'd struggle to see better anywhere. When he leaves, we will be lucky to witness such a talisman in a QPR shirt again.

I'm gutted for Adel. I thought our fans would've recognised and appreciated the genius entertainer by at least voting him this award.

What more did the guy have to do to win it? He should rightfully feel snubbed by the fans and fellow team-mates for finishing runner up.

Let's give him some real appreciation at the Leeds game.

Totaly agree, not taking anything away from Kenny as he has been brilliant.

The problem is the majority of English people/football do not appriciate what players like Adel bring. Most rather grafters and honest pros.

Instead of saying "wow did you see Adels 5 nutmegs in the game then put the ball in the top corner", they rather say "did you see him not chase back, how dare he"

I don't think those people have a personal problem with Adel, they would probably be the same if Ronaldinho played for us.

I think consistency is the key. Kenny has been outstanding in every game (barring scunthorpe possibly). Tarrabt doesn't always turn it on, but when he does its brilliant.

The key to the season has been out cleansheet, a record number of them. I think its marginal. maybe they could have shared it. With derry and faurlin sharing 2nd.

Vote for him then if you felt that strongly - at the end of the day Kenny has kept us in vital games when Adel has gone missing, consistency is the key to winning the trophy

IMO the hardest thing in football is to score goals, so for that reason I will say Adel scoring 18 goals is very impressive.

Although you could look at it the other way. I wonder where Arsenal would be this season if they had a Paddy Kenny.

I would say it was a tough call but adel just edges for me.

Also Derry has been better throughout the season compared to Faurlin and thats not to do with grafting because derry is great at keeping the ball. His complete passes must be about 95%, superb player and far better than just a ball winner, so I am pleased he got noticed with 3rd
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

It's tough, because comparing a keeper with an attacking midfielder isn't comparing like for like in any way.
Personally, I think all of them should have got it -- they're all amazing!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

That's why we live in a democracy! Most votes win!

In an AV type vote Tarabat would probably have won. That's why I won't be voting for AV!

Kenny has been consistently brilliant all season bar Scunny. Tarabat has been super as well, but has had the odd game where he has not been brilliant.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

                      However
We wouldn't have won league without kenny... Well deserved IMO, I'd have been happy for either of them to win and so should any rangers fan

                        Disagree. Kenny all the way.

                        Well deserved, IMO.

Well, its a no brainer, Kenny doesn't make us top of the league, he has helped to make us champions, but having Taarabt in our side had made us top of the league and champions, not Kenny, Taarabt should've definitely won it, but i'm not that bothered because Kenny has been quality for us this season and i love him for that.

                              Taarabt should've got it.
I reckon his "flawed" personality counted against him cos at times he's a bit of a CnT.
