When he was at Leeds, we used to call him "That animal Shaun Derry" -- but he was a real gent last night.
So, were we wrong with our label, or has he changed from what he was?
Swanley I think they mean animal on the pitch. I remember watching him for palace, he has very sharp elbows and nearly put 2 sheff wed players in hospital, I love him but he can do some good damage hence the nickname, I wouldn't change his style as he is brilliant and has given us the steel we have needed, we love u boro we do oh boro we love u
Derry looked visibly moved when asked about what the effect would be on him and the players, if the worst came to the worst.
I just can't put it out of my mind now -- in pieces having seen and heard him. Our players and us were so jubilant on Saturday and yesterday and now I feel like we've been relegated.
We talk about Vauxhall motors and administration, but right now this actually feels worse than those things.
**** me that was emotional. So glad birch was there to celebrate promotion, derry is a top top bloke and adel goes up in my estimation everytime I see him "it was like that" what a chap
For the first time since this damn thing came to light, I think I saw just how this mess is starting to affect the players.
When questioned about the possibility that our title, outright promotion even, might be taken away from us by those ******s at the FA, Shaun looked close to tears as he told how devastating that would be not just for them, the players, but everyone connected with the club, not least the fans.
I really, really, do hate those barstewards at the FA for doing this to us, absolutely hate the fookers.
