do you think it's an easy life being a pro player?

Never knowing when each game might be your last for a club. You're in fashion one week, and out the next. Any comments from the semi pro's on here what it's like?

Apart from the top 5% , the big money earners , its quite a hard profession to be involved in, even harder now to brake into as a youth player than ever before, yes the riches are there for some, but its far from easy and i for one think they deserve every pound they earn! Well most do anyway

At the very top i.e. Premier, Championship and some League 1 it is a great life. Short hours, good wages and most of al doing something most love. For the rest, very hard breaking through then a life of short term contracts and uncertainty up and down the country on relatively low wages.

Used to go to college with a bloke who played for wycombe. He played for them for a long time but then did his knee in. Couldnt state enough how hard it was. Said the worst thing was making a mistake and hearing 80 percent of iindividuals in the crowd being personel.


Having said that id give my right arm to be 1

Cant do basic things like go shopping without being bothered
Strict diets
training everyday
pre season
media always on you watching your private life
injuries

Good things

So much money you dont know what to do with it


Someone said above for lower league players, not knowing if your coming or going. moving up and down the country just to keep work. Fans expecting you to be as good as messi.
