That was why I asked who he would replace.

Do you not think that says it all, when things are going for him and he wins player of the year he is a gent who loves the club. When he cant get in the team and isn't centre of attention he is rude and arrogant. Average player who played in a poor rangers team team that made him look far better than he is or will ever be.

I always saw Rowlands actions towards the fans as acting like a big brother. He saw himself as a fan and was trying to tell the fans that, as one of them, that they were wrong to be taking their course of action.
As i said in my earlier post:
i) Booing your team off after a home win
ii) Booing a player throughout a game (i.e. Gavin Mahon)
was showing appalling support for your team and those that took part in those actions deserved to be given an earful.
It is is alright to give the players stick but you don't like it when they give it back. I personally appreciate someone that will stick up for their view.
To this day I would 100% understand Rowland's reaction on those occasions.

He is obviously not in the team due to some kind of falling out with Warnock. If Warnock is to stay, which i suspect he will (and should), then it will probably be in Rowlands interest to move on unfortunately.
It's a shame as I still think that he has a lot to offer.
As for those fans slating him for having a go at fans, I recall those times very well.
The fans booed off a QPR team (who were short of confidence) that decided to defend a slender lead in a home game. These are the same fans that booed Gavin Mahon's every kick during another home game. Appalling support in my view and Martin Rowlands was quite RIGHT to have a go back.
From my recollection he has ALWAYS come and applauded fans after games but took fans to task on just a couple of occasions when they very much overstepped the mark.
Martin, you have been a great servant for QPR. If you decide to move on then I wish you the very best in your future career.Populus fui meus nomen , tamen meus nomen est non meus nomen

Van Moen who places for Norway (ranked 9th) has 9 caps since 2006 and also cant get in our team.
As I said average player who only excelled in a poor team, anyway if you are right there will be a host of top Championship teams waiting to sign him, time will tell.
