...how proud this group of players make me, both on and off the pitch. last night at the POTY they were a credit and were lovely to me -- even though they had to hold the lift for Ali and Kaspars while i fumbled around with the shirts i wanted signing.i kept apologising pathetically and they both said. no, you're alright, its ok, and couldnt have been nicer. clint hill was surprisingly lovely too -- in fact they all were.
many thanks to karen, brian and pete who got our tickets (and to bev for the disinfectant wipes for the bathroom floor in our hotel room - say no more!)
but a fabulous evening which had me in tears for much of it.
