QPR chairman vows to fight FA over possible points penalty

Defiant QPR chairman Gianni Paladini told the FA to brace themselves for a fight if they hit the club with a 15-point penalty this week.

A leak suggested FA chiefs plan to hit the promoted west Londoners with the deduction over the signing of midfielder Alejandro Faurlin in 2009.

But Paladini has warned that the Hoops – backed by billionaires Bernie Ecclestone, Lakshmi Mittal and Flavio Briatore – will take them on.

He said: “We will fight all the way and justice will be done. We have not tried to cheat anybody.

“We have done everything in good faith. We have done everything right.”

Adel Taarabt and Tommy Smith’s goals sealed Rangers’ return to the Premier League after 15 years at Watford.

Paladini added: “This is the most unbelievable time of my life. We have worked so hard to get this far and get investors like Flavio, Bernie and Mittal.

“It’s been a great story. It’s great for the fans who have had to put up with s*** for so many years.

“I can’t wait for next season. We are not going there for half an hour. We will be a force and stay up.”

I would expect better of a person in such a poistion, not a rant or to try and take the FA on in a willy measuring session. There will only be one winner. He is beginning to sound like that clown the road in Bishops Park

Don't think its very wise publicly telling the FA we will 'fight them all the way'

For 1) if they have sufficient evidence to do us their will be no fight & 2) why not just hush as was agreed on the QPR & FA websites & not antagonise them with veiled threats through the media.

            Sometimes less is more.
