Goal line technology

Now we are in the big time where any disputed "goal" could cost a club millions. Whats your take on bringing in technology to aid the refs ?
I for one think they should cos over the years we've seen some big balls up like Lamps "goal" in the world cup.

It should have been in place years ago. Its only that corrupt relic Blatter who's prevented it so far. Time for the PL to bring it in regardless and stick fingers up at him - after today I'd be surprised if that doesnt happen next season.

Not for me im afraid. Dont like it, i dont like the thought of machines helping somthing that wasnt created using a machine. The only way i think it would work is if it a simple beep or flash of light if it went over. But if this rule did go ahead then where does it stop. You wouldnt have any refs......

5 minutes after endless replays yesterday from all angles dozens of pundits still did not have a conclusive verdict on the "goal". The idea that you get a quick resolution and the game can still flow is bogus. These phantom goals occur infrequently - what about offsides, penalty shouts and things that happen lots of times; they affect games too. I think it's TV stations that drive this (especially Sky) - they seem obsessed with replaying EVERYTHING over-and-over. I reckon there's an army of armchair fans who think it's normal to see everything twice over in slo-mo and they'll naturally bleat on about goal-line tech etc. Me? I'm used to just seeing games live in normal time and i'm happy to let ref call things.

definately and while we are at it get a time keeper to stop these extra time anomolies

Maybe a goal line ref would be better then gadgets like the Euro competitions.

Maybe a goal line ref. I lived in australia and got into aussie rules.....and then got out of it but i think having more then 1 ref on the playing feild would benefit. 1 for each half of the pitch!

It's coming, sooner rather than later.

Too much £££ on the line nowadays constantly changing the face of the game we grew up with.

Too much riding on human judgement. Bring technology in for the goal lines at the highest levels of the game.
