  • Our increasing Global Appeal: The Premier League: India

Had a pissed up conversation yesterday and can't remember the source of this information which was either the radio or The Guardian but it was discussing Mittal. Appparently Premier League chiefs are welcoming QPR with open arms due to the influence of Mittal and his ability to reach a real untapped massive global market. Another point of discussion was that because of Mittal we are now getting an increasing fan base in India.

The Mittals do a lot for sport / charity in India and by the sounds of it are held in very high regard back home. There is no comparison with Blackburn's owners either, Mittal is considered the real deal!

Yes my friend, you're an Indian club now. Thats what it took to get promotion. Makes you proud?
I'd rather stay in this league, or any other league that go down that road.
We are British, and will always be.
In fact, with all this foreign ownership now. We are probably Englands to club.
          Enjoy your party.

Do we need this bitter racist ####'s comment on our board? He is probably the kind of inbred who threw bananas at black players even when he had justin fashanu playing for them. God, really, really embarrassing post.
