  • Daily Mail now jumping on the bandwagon.

As well as the double page spread today underlining Ecclestone's lack of interest in QPR,Des Kelly says..

    Quote:

    WARNOCK BITTEN

"Queens Park Rangers face a points deduction that threatens to wreck their promotion to the Premier League if they are found to have broken the rules on third party ownership of their player Alejandro Faurlin.
All the leaks suggest the FA have enough evidence to impose a penalty of up to 15 points.
That will be something of an irony considering how manager Neil Warnock spent so long complaining about third party ownership of Carlos Tevez when his goal for West Ham relegated Sheffield Utd four years ago.
Many weeks of legal wrangling and obfuscation now loom, but none of us should be the least bit surprised.
One of the major boardroom influences at QPR is Flavio Briatore, the man at the heart of the "Crashgate" scandal and ostracised from Formula 1 for being implicated in the plot to fix the Singapore Grand Prix.
I FEAR QPR's HOPES ARE BEING DRIVEN INTO A WALL NOW AS WELL".

I expect plenty more of this in the coming week.

We are in no different a situation than the first day the charges were made.

Why waste 2 pages saying nothing new? Would have been better giving another two pages over to the wedding.

Has anyone actually read past the headline in the Mail? I thought the Bernie article was pretty positive?

          - If not promoted this season he'll still be around to make sure we win the Championship next season
          - Assuming Flavio doesn't take up his option Bernie be taking far more of an interest in the the club - 100% (but not the sporting side).
          - A sensible approach will be taken if promoted rather than 'do a Chelsea' and potentially destroy the club in the long term
          - If QPR were playing Chelsea he'd be supporting QPR

Thats just a few of the positives.

Couple of "cheap shots" thrown in about Warnock and Briatore. Strangely, a very slow news day for them.

It also says as a footnote...

PS: "I want to land promotion, win at Chelsea and finish fourth next season".
