Not telling you what to say... but I would stress that this is an admin issue, and the FA should be thinking more about football as a sport, and the fans, rather than cracking down on clerical issues, and punishing fans all the time.
Honours should be decided ON the pitch.

A word of caution for Pete.

Unless you have had some training in doing live TV or Radio interviews then I would certainly advise you not to do this interview.

Nothing good can become of such an interview - they will not be interested in what sort of season we have had - everybody know that it's history.

There is only one reason they have asked you to appear is to talk about points deductions and the Sun article. As you, like anybody on this site, know nothing about the outcome of the forthcoming meeting you are not in a position to give a view - but believe me when i say you will be pressed on the subject and you will have to think on your feet because you are live on air and under pressure.

I have experience of live interviews and whilst in the comfort of your own space you have it clear in your head what you are going to say it never works out that way because you are not in charge, the interviewer is.

My advice is to stay well clear - you cannot add anything to the debate that will have any bearing on the outcome.
