  • Why no club statement?

Now I know there has not been a hearing yet, but surely the club should make some kind of statement to try and put peoples minds at rest for tomorrow. Warnock did say in his press conference before Cardiff and on Friday focus that expect the media to not let the truth get in the way of a good story. Yet again the man has been proved right. Secondly, he has taken independent legal advice in relation to the case and is more than happy with what he was told. We have had a fantastic season. We are easily the best team in this league and yet we are doubting ourselves as to whether we can celebrate promotion. If the club has any respect for us they should make a statement.

Totally agree - but what can they say, sometimes it's better to be quiet

Privately reassure the players and talk after the the decision - which is what Warnock has said he would do

because anything you say can be held against you in a court of law.
You don't speak until you have to.
You suck them in and then you destroy them.
      It's called counter -attack.
