  • The one game which goofed us up

Is to me the Bristol City home game. Those two points we gave away easily would have been welcome right now .
    Whats yours ?

I think thats a tad harsh, for me it has been the games when squeaky bum time arrived, we have slightly bottled it, a point at Scunthorpe would have been enough.

for me, last Monday v Hull.

They rarely threatened and scored against the run of play.
We could have been 2 up by HT if one of HH's efforts had gone in.
Then we had 3 great chances to win it in the last 7 or 8 minutes.

Faurlin, Taarbs & Dave, the equivilent of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly in chances. would have been 'job done'. (Baring you know what.....)

Yep pressure, but we are there anyway, just spoilt my drinking plans on Monday.

Now I will probably have to duke it out with the golden boys on Saturday as I am in the away end.

Derby home for me ...really should have put a poor side like that to the sword at home!

Against Forest when they had ten men. They scored the flukiest of goals in that game too.

we were excellent vs bc, forest came to us when eevryone thought they would go top after they beat us and won their game in hand, it has to be derby at home we just never got going

We have blown it in previous weeks

Scunthorpe away and Derby home, both winnable games.

Saying that we;ve only got to draw at Watford

Watford at home was the game that "goofed" us up, teams thought we were unbeatable until that game, scarey thing for me is leeds followed that game and beat us, last 2 games, de ja vu anyone.

But most seasons you could probably say that about a dozen matches where the Rs threw it away in the last minute etc. This season there have only been a handful, and as one poster rightly said, for once more than counterbalanced by all the points we've pinched. Its almost been like watching another side masquarading as super hoops - we've been that professional. End of season after what we've done we were always goin to run out of a bit of steam so not too critical of recent dropped points.
