      good post ted
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I don't give a toss if he is here or not. I would prefer he wasn't, because IMO he is a dodgy so and so and made us a laughing stock with his imaginary kidnapping at gunpoint drama and if we are finned a penny piece next week, he should be sacked. If he does go, I wonder if he will repay the loans the club made to him ?

Probably just realised he'll never get his £70 back from Gazza!

a 100k bonus does not really sound like its enough, will be a lot more then that after cgt is only £70k

it will be plus 500 if any such incentive in place

God knows maybe the club will wipe off his existing debt to the club at the same time??

pay him an amount minus whatever he owes the club in loans.
                      Fair doo's then.

He might have already repaid the loans for all we know and until the next accounts are out we are all in the blind

In that case Isle then he should get whatever is agreed as a parting amount.

All loans can be written off at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Pretty common place.

In the event that GP does leave, I'd assume those would form part of a severance deal.

If that is indeed the case then I completely agree with you Jeffro

If he has been negligent and or incompetent, he should get nothing, the 'parting amount', could be the fine the club has paid to the FA.
