  • No problem with that Terry, not a word in that to disagree with.

I'm not saying the bloke has not made mistakes. Neither do I have a problem if a "safer pair of hands" were performing the role he currently holds.

All I've ever tried to defend the man against, same as I would you or anybody else, is a whole bunch of fabricated stories, slurs and inuendos. Surely he is at least entitled to be deemed as innocent until proven otherwise.

My personal view of him for the record is of someone who probably bit off a bit more than he could chew when getting involved in the first place. This, followed by the inevitable errors of judgement that made him look worse than he is.

He has however delivered on the two promises he did make. Firstly that we would not go into admin again as long as he was around and promotion to the premier league. He should at least be given credit for that.

Good to see you back and being reasonable.

    • James.. If the fa have made a mistake and paladini has done nothing wrong then yes he should be considered by the new board to undertake his role again next season.

Brighton, I can see where your coming from but is it not a case of guilty until proven innocent? I mean the fa have the paperwork and the evidence is in front of them now, it's more a case of the club trying to worm out of it and defend their mistakes?

      • It not a fa hearing so points can not taking away it be only recomends what to do then the fa and league decide after that. That take time and what happens then we decide if appeal or not.

          • Just to clear up an inaccuracy.

Won't be new board here next season.

might be added to, but Bernie and the boys will still be here

            • That I don't know. My personal view is that the FA/FL and QPR already have decide and this just a show so that no one can say that the FA bottled it and there want be same problems as there was with West Ham. Also it just to confirm that if they agree with the punishment that FA going to hand out

              • The main issue here is

QPR Say they have deliberately done nothing wrong (of course that is open to interpretation)

                FA/Football League want answers.

I am happy the top lawyers (more than one) can provide enough proof to quash any severe punishments.

The problem lay in the severity of the fine, which must be miles apart otherwise we would have agreement by now.

Its up to the Independent tribunal to make a decision after listening to both parties. Don't forget in regards to Hereford its was not an independent decision (as far as I know).

I suspect the club feel it warrants no fine or a small fine and the FA feel they can get much more, they will push for a much higher figure.

At the end of the day, personal opinion think they will meet somewhere in the middle and common sense prevails,

As I say for anyone that wants to listen FA lawyers are not pursuing a points deduction

                  • I still don't have a clue on any scale how serious this is. Loads of people on here bricking themselves in different threads at 10 minute intervals since the charges were brought over a month ago. People refusing to celebrate being champions and getting promoted because "there is a possible points deduction" F_uck me! They better not leave their house ever again, 'just in case'.

I don't know wether to have champagne at the ready or a razor blade.

I think it's safe to take the cork out of your a_rse.

                      • From a slightly different angle is anyone more worried that a large fine could eat into Warnock's "war chest" and end up getting us relegated anyway....? (sorry)

                        • Terry,
In my opinion, no one should be assumed guilty prior to all the facts being considered.
Having not seen any evidence, impossible to say if he has done anything wrong, deliberately or otherwise.

"Absolutely not the FL & PL are seperate competitions played under the governance of the FA if any punishment is imposed as a result of the hearing next week it must be imposed this season.

With the result due on May 6th and with QPR allowed 5 days to appeal there is plenty of time for the matter to be dealt with before this season ends on May 31st."

What might be an idea is if you were to be a little more respectful to each other. There are obviously going to be a number of things on which we will have differing opinions with other posters. Does that necessarily mean that we have to throw abuse at others in order to get our point across?
There is a way to stop people doing this if they continue these petty arguments. Would be a shame to have to resort to it.

Having said that, I'm afraid to have to tell you that Terry has won the "Avatar War" hands down.
