  • Where were you when we were ........

For all those bleating for extra tickets for watford....where were you when we could only manage over a thousand and ipswich this year or Norwich away not to mention crewe away and chesterfield to name but a few from the dark days....maybe watford looked at the face we hardly sell out all season so we only need what we've been given....remember glOry hunters ..."QPR is for the whole season not just the last few games"

Is it not natural to have many more of the clubs fans willing to go away when their team is successfull??
    They seek him here.................

AwAy support for a club in top two all season has been rubbish (numbers wise) joke not on me for supporting the team at the dumps we went to a few years back....

            It's obvious isn't it?

When you're team are doing well, it becomes much more enjoyable to follow them. When they are playing badly, the prospect of spending an entire Saturday travelling to the other end of the country, with the expense incurred, just isn't that appealing.

The people who go week in, week out, home and away, are people with fewer interests in their lives, or whose social life revolves around going to football. I don't mean that disrespectfully. I'm sure many of us have a lot of competing interests, and guess what? When deciding how to allocate time, we tend to choose the ones that are likely to give us most pleasure.

Or is that too logical for you?

Went away to watford in the late sixties, b4 all this ticket lark, and we used to take over their toytown ground.

Who says so? Why can't I choose to spend my time and money however I please? Football is part of the entertainment industry. You're making it sound like joining the bl00dy masons.

Well done to you for going to the away games, some of us can hardly afford to go to home games and for some its easier to go to away games.

You can't #### people off for not going if the team is playing crap or they just cant afford it, but qudos to you and others who put their hand in their pockets and follow their team home and away.

In doing so you get the loyalty points that enables you to get 1st pick, which is only fair.

Majorly bored of the 'I'm a bigger fan than you' argument.. I've been a massive supporter for years, I'd rather see a packed loftus road than 8,000 empty seats...

Besides, I reckon half the people that sing 'we were here when we were ****' are lying to look good..
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Top two all season so you reasoning don't stand up.....it's called glory hunting ....fact we play 23 away games and 23 home games means you could at least get to a few away games....did we sell out waffled last year or the year before ???? It ain't the masons as they turn up to a get together not just the odd one ....

I'm not arguing that I couldn't get to all those away games.

I'm saying that I chose not to go to them. It's not a legal requirement to attend them is it?

All you're doing is trying to make a virtue out of your dastardly slavishness.
