  • Very Subdued Down At L.R.

    Strange day today.

The place was absolutely buzzing pre match around the Bush & in the ground, and after basically battering a poor Hull side I really had no other thought in my mind other than we would win this game.

Don't no if anyone can confirm but from my seat in South Africa Rd the Hull goal looked well offside?

Final whistle blew & a very small cheer went up, the pitch was invaded but all around me people seemed unsure about our status although we pretty much all knew a draw would do.

No singing outside the ground or around by Uxbridge Rd or the Green & its all a bit disappointing really.

Well I'm off to celebrate (kind of) with a pint but I'd be interested to know the feelings of others at the game & those who were not & what the radio & tv people are saying.

yeah we're as good as up with gd - BUT... want to go up as champs. coming second to Norwich but still promoted would be a major disappointment. Very odd feeling really, perhaps i'm just being greedy. Still think we'll do it as champs - just a bit nervy at present. Thank god for that gd, always knew it was vital. Bring on watford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all built ourselves and each other up so high all weekend and on top of that we got an early goal which sent our expectation off the scale. So its very understandable that we are in that mood.
We have been there before and will come again. But we are promoted bar the shouting.

I dont mind building ourselves up for the game, its all part of the game we love, to have that high expectation of your team, especially when they have played so well throughout the season. But we do deserve to feel disheartened knowing we should of done it today.

But take solace in the fact that we are going up!!

              Utterly disappointing.
Should have seen the game out, defended far too deep, and ultimately paid the price.
This was not what I'd hoped for.

Seems so weird walking from the ground to the boozer, everyone looks gutted!

We are going up but today should of been party time. Oh well Watford then the big one dirty lids at home & we'll make up for it.

                Still gutted though

i see your point but to not go up today was very frustrating. 2nd half we didn't seem to look for the winner enough, playing for a point and you could just tell norwich wud score

agree - more gutted that norwich scored when they did than us conceding tbh.
norwich getting right on my t**ts now. didnt have a problem with them bfore!

lets face it, if adel didnt assist or score we rarely win a game ! its all on his shoulders, some other player should step up little bit.

Rockandroll I have to agree with that.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
