None of you guy's have probably heard of him,but he was signed by QPR in 1954 (3 years after I started to support the R's) from Methley Utd and scored 62 in 201 games. He changed his name from Longbottom to Short ar*e (Langley really) and at 78 still follows the R's results from his home in Scarborough.

Not a great player but one that gave 110%.
If you're the real BB I remember you well too. You'd be just a year younger than Arthur and joined the R's from Bournemouth 5 years after Arthur joined us.You scored a remarkable 161 in 258 for the R's and got the winner for Bounemouth,I believe, against Man Utd in the FA Cup.You also won me,as a youngster, about £20 on the way back from Bounemouth on the supporters coach, for scoring the first goal for QPR against your old club at Dean Court???
