  • Will Hull go for it?

Surely they have to, it's their last chance to get something out of the season. They cannot sit every man behind the ball again like up at the KC?

They do have to go for the win, a draw is useless to them.

I remember thinking away at Hull that they might regret the stick they were giving Taarabt during the game.
Definitely the worst he's had this season. The game where he asked to be subbed, and their fans slaughtered him for an hour.

If he's in the mood tomorrow, and fancies a bit of payback... it's an open game, and there's f**k all Hull can do to stop him.

Hard game & I fancy them to be very cautious but dangerous all the same. No way will they be gung ho but they will definitely be a test.

Thing is they have to go for it, defensively they are decent but Saturdays result suggests they may have opened up and got punished.

Worst case scenario is they take the lead early and defend it for the rest of the match..

Agree with above, no way can they do a derby. They must go for the win n when teams do that we get space which Taarabt will exploit. Worried bout fryatt but it shud be an exciting game. They were awful defensively vs boro judging by highlights

They got a lotta injuries...so i think its us who are gonna go for it. An early goal for us will kill them.
But having said that we still have to be wary of them cos they have not lost away since September.

Copied from Hull City website - says it all, hope NW pins this on the dressing room wall

Jay Simpson is raring to go against Queens Park Rangers on Easter Monday as the Tigers look to put Saturday's defeat against Middlesbrough behind them.

City were beaten 4-2 at the KC Stadium on a disappointing day but Simpson, who netted 13 times for QPR during a season-long loan there last year, is confident his side can bounce back against the league leaders and is looking forward to returning to Loftus Road.

"We've got to move on after Saturday and dust ourselves down," said Simpson.

"Our only focus is the QPR game now. We've got to go to Loftus Road and concentrate on getting a result there.

"I had a good season down there last year and it will be nice to go back. They'll be trying to have a (promotion) party and get the win that they need, but we need a win to stay in the play-off picture.

"Hopefully we can gatecrash any party they are planning and it would be nice to get a win there to move on after Saturday."
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
