The FA decision...

Well, I've never spoken to anyone at the FA, nor HQ yet I know the outcome of the independent hearing. How? Because I spoke to a mate who knows a man, who once spoke to a man about some stuff and he said he too knew a man that saw a girl, who said hi to him and then they fell over, whilst on the ground he then saw someone and then realised we would get off with a fine.
It's true you know - well actually, you can tell it's a lie because I said "I spoke to a mate"!

This whole situation is ****.
It's hard to imagine they will want a lengthy appeal from us -- they must know we will -- and they cannot implement punishment until after the appeal which would mess everything up.
I'm crossing my fingers that the bloke meant "Prepare for the worst -- then when it doesn't happen, you'll be even happier."
Why do I now feel I'm clutching at straws?
I'm fed up that the last few weeks we have been able to do nothing other than see-saw between delirium and despair.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

The fact that it's coming from nodge is very worrying.
Very rarely does he get things wrong.
I just can't understand how they can make comments until all cards are laid on the table and after the trial.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The FA have handles the whole affair terribly and backed themselves into a corner that they now have little way out of.
To anyone saying 'the FA don't want to fight our billions in court' if course they don't. But that doesn't make any difference to the bottom line which is that the FA are not making the call here. They have appointed an Independent Commission to sit and decide our fate.
If the Commission came back to the FA and said 'we feel a 15 point penalty is correct, however a monumental fine would suffice', the FA would of course err towards the fine and closing up shop.
However if the Commission returns and flat out says '15 point penalty', the FA have no room for manoeuvre.
Deep down I think the FA believed we would be so far clear at the top by now that they would have plenty of scope to lay down a heavy precedent and nothing to change, and realistically, we should be 15+ points clear of Norwich. It's not the FAs fault we blew our chances.
The clubs 'sauces' are hardly going to tell people publicly or privately 'yes we ****ed up and were going to get stung here', especially when their positions are on the line.
Personally, I fully expect at least a 10 point deduction for the charges of fabrication of documents IF proven, and a huge fine for the 3rd party ownership again IF proven.
