I thought he ran our 2 centre halves ragged and played well. Would be a good buy, but like the majority of our squad....can they step up?

Good post Jeffro. The strikers we faced were of premiership standard - not top prem standard, but v, v decent - and it showed me that Gorks and Connolly might struggle. For me Connolly was particularly weak after a good game agaisnt Derby - the way he basically brought down and controlled the ball for Bellamy to score was really, really poor. Gorks I thought was a bit better though I've never seen us lose as much in the air at the back as yesterday. Agree we did look more composed when Fitz came on.
Connolly is an enigma to me. He can look very, very good and you can think he has the potential to grow into a really good defender, then other times he can look a bit lightweight. We must hope this is just a bad patch and that he will come good but certainly a lot of food for thought from y'day's game...

Gorkks gave JB way too much room for his goal, he just stood back and waited for him to make the move. It wasnt helped by a good overlapping decoy run by their FB which dragged Tommy Smith out of position, who was also guilty of neither tracking the FB or staying on JB.

I just felt Bellamy caused us endless problems. Mainly due to Clint's lack of pace. Not that I'm having a dig at him, as I felt Hill did a good job, regardless of both goals coming from his side.Your mum would love me...

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

, I mean
Although Clint is not quick, his postional play is good and I agree, he was not at fault for both goals, although his attempted tackle was a bit lame!
Cardiff closed us down very well, whereas we always seem to let the opposition play instead of closing down. All the 50/50's seemed to go their way, as did the knock downs. Why is that I wonder?

Have already said my piece on this yesterday.
Connolly & Gorkks are playing 3 more games for QPR then I can see the exit door.
To frail, lack positional sense, not 'hard' enough & will generally get raped in the Premiership on a weekly basis.
Hall to start Monday please Neil.
But well done to MC & KG because without them we wouldn't be where we are, but I really feel they have been exposed this season as 2 players who have got very lucky at times.
Personal opinion only & don't want it to deflect away from a magnificent performance yesterday.
