Citing a possible 15 point deduction. Double page spread about the whole affair, very worrying.

My mate works for the Sunday People and I'm going with him to the Hull match. I think I'm gonna have to ask him where The People keep getting this **** poor source of info from and why they keep printing this rubbish.
Need I remind everyone it was The People who brought us the Zidane and Figo stories first.Last edited by W12_Ranger; 24-04-2011, 09:33 AM.

Having read the article does seem very worrying, and why are the People stirring it all up now
Having said that there is nothing new in the article and no direct quotes
Can any of the ITK gang shed any light
Just when you are feeling positive after a great result like yesterdays - you get this

That just looks like the People haven't found any Prem players in bed with each other and are rehashing old news.
I would have thought the club and FA are bound to be having regular meetings -- words like 'panic' are just emotive journalism by some Cardiff/Norwich supporting reporter who can't bear the thought of missing out on automatic.
The precedents ARE there -- Bournemouth got a 30k fine for using an unregistered agent and the Showumni third party ownership case incurred a similar fine.
They have to prove an on-the-field advantage for a points deduction -- and I don't think the anti-QPR BBC would have stuck their necks over the parapet and said "no deduction" if it was going to happen.
That reporter clearly has an axe to grind and is probably trying to unsettle our players -- but I think NW is winning that battle anyway and will get us over the line tomorrow.
Oh, and we have read lots of quotes from 'FA insiders' who have said it will only be a fine -- so which 'FA insiders' do you believe??!!Last edited by swanleyhoop; 24-04-2011, 10:15 AM.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

The People have chosen a points total which would have major implications, 10 pts for instance could still see us automatically promoted but 15pts wouldn't.
The story is absolute BS, if I had read this in the Times or Independent I might have some cause for concern. A fabricated story designed to sell newspapers thats all.

People seem to have said something now because of all the excitement of yesterday's game.
If the game was not on BBC 1 and such a great game then the People would not have found this sh*% in the draw that reads "we need something to stick on a 2 day spread as this weekend is a bit quiet as Rooney hasn't kicked off "
I thought the BBC to come out with what they said was telling, the way it was mentioned was not even ambiguous. The BBC must have made enquiries with the FA prior to the Cardiff game as they must of wanted to know whether the trophy should or should not have been handed over if we had won. The BBC probably didnt want to be in a position to hand the trophy over and then have to collect it a few weeks later if a points deduction did occur.
I'm also pleased that no leaks from the club that they are worried, the club simply appears to have put their defence to the charges in and appears imho to have been advised by the lawyers to fight. The Club are not trying to do any deals but simply vigorously defending all the charges, thus, maintaining a position that they had when the charges were first brought. Message is clear dont mess with Bernie or Mittel.

I'd more worried if it was in The Times or Telegraph, when written by proper journalists.
The Sunday People have never got one thing right about in QPR in last 4 years. Figo story springs to mind, but they have had manyALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.
