I have every confidence that we will not get relegation. Bright future ahead so keep the faith.
For pure excitement yes this season is great but finishing 5th in the PL as London's top club will take some beating (Can't remember the season, just remember beating Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, West Ham etc etc)
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
It's been a great season, leading from the front for so long but we just keep going. I love the way that every time we seem to play a team in form such as Forest, Foxes or Cardiff we get written off before we go on the pitch but at all these "big" games we've stopped the in form teams in their tracks.
It's been a real joy watching players basically giving everything for the cause. The Leicster game at LR for example all the players stayed in the centre circle at the end of the game just watching the scores coming in from other grounds which went our way, just one of a number of great memories.
Also to see Adel in full flight has been a sight that has not been replicated in any other British stadium for many a year. Added to that the likes of all the other players who played with passion, for example Connors yesterday keeping up with Bellamy.
All of this done under the spot light of FA charges, unlike Man U or Liverpool who would be marching in protest at such charges, our fans simply get up everyday and get on with it - proper club and proper fans - if ever a club deserves to go up or be champions its us.
been supporting qpr since 75
imo, the best season was when fenwick equalized in extra time
because we took spurs all the way and venables went from division two to Barcelona.
Right now, it feels like it.
With all the crap of the past 15 years, I think the difference is that I appreciate it more, because we have seen the club sink so far and rise up again -- as a teenager I took 72-73 and 75-76 almost as a God-given right.
03-04 was great -- but I think this is even better.
