  • My inflatable swimming pool made it on the 10 O'Clock news...

The inflatables were absolutely brilliant throughout the game, especially the first 15 mins!

Roll on even more for Watford

I must get a few weird looks when I'm at Argos

My other swimming pool died a slow death.

Our inflatable woman didn't last very long. That cost about 40 quid!:drunk:

I didn't blow the trophy up. That's waiting for Hull:yush:

    What a great day!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

      Sounded excellent.

What were your views on Connolly's performance today Dave? I'm not being funny just interested to know as you are a big fan of Conners.

Personally I thought him & Gorkks looked well out of sorts & I was actually relieved when Fitz came on.

I thought Gorks was all over the place today. Kept missing headers and giving silly free kicks away. If anything he should have gone off. MC had a couple of shaky moments early on, but apart from that did his job very well I thought. Hill was arguably at fault for both goals. He should have stopped the shot coming in for the first and he gave the ball away for the 2nd. He improved a lot in the 2nd half. MC showed some class at times with his passing. Made one great pass with his left foot.

Fitz hardly did anything when he came on. I think any defence would have a tough battle against Bothroyd and Bellamy. Hall would have done his hammy after 10 mins today against Bellamy! Shittu wouldn't have had the football brain to play against Bellamy.

Fair enough although for the first goal I would of questioned Tommy Smith a bit for not chasing down Bothroyd but sorry 2nd goal was calamitous from Connolly a run of the mill ball into the box, he is actually in front of Bellamy yet still manages to let the ball go past him & into Bellamy's path for the goal.

Think that's why NW hauled him off & I'd bet a pretty penny Hall starts with KG on Monday.

Could be right, but Gorks was certainly the worst of the 2 today. I think any Ranger who was there today would say the same. MC was very good in the 2nd half. Hall was brought on just to deal with the constant long balls and hole on for the point. Job done.

I agree KG was worse than Conners today.

I think it was just the goal that affected Warnock's decision to sub him.

I really am a big fan of Connolly's & am willing him on to get back to early season form but I think being dropped that first time has really mentally scarred the lad. He's an excellent defender no doubt about that & clearly the best with the ball at his feet but it looks like he suffers from bad confidence problems?

compleely agree , think connolly getting undeserved bad press , gorks was awful today dont know what mat could do for the second goal the ball arrived at that height and angle he couldnt deal with, hes still the best ball playing cb we have, think dannys time is up was adrenaline got hime through first couple of games fitz ok to bring on , bellamy would have destroyed him if on from the sstart

My wife was with me watching the BBC highlights - where the inflatable swimming pool and inflatable sheep made the highlights just after our 2nd equaliser.

She said: "Are you JOKING? An inflatable pool?!" I couldn't stop giggling.

I stopped giggling, however, when I saw Helguson's miss. Dear. God.

To be honest defensively we had a mare today, mistakes by Hill/Connolly/Orr/Smith...

BUT **** it they still didn't beat us!

Well he should have ensured it hit him in any part of his body, other then his arms and hands (which he actaully done), to prevent it going past him. Take it in the stomach the ******** the thigh anywhere but dont let the ball pass you.

I do rate Conners but personally would play him at right back before in the centre.
