We all have our own idea's as to who we think should be the new manager. However - despite being a manager i didnt rate - i would support from the word go.Everyone has to be given a chance. The same with players really...For me - the new manager has got to be given time - i fear if Jim was the new manager - if we lost couple of early games, he would get hammered by certain fans....that seems to happen at most clubs these days.

Agree rbockells. Would not be my choice, but if he's appointed, would back him all the way. It's no good at having a go a management or players for that matter, I believe it is counter productive IMO.Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

I feel like that with you on this board but i'll try and back you.
Of course I would back Jim and good luck to the man.
I actually think he could get us promoted and needs more importantly the boards backing on transfer, so he can bring the players he wants.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

My view is that if JM gets the job, that's the board's fault, not his, and fair play to him for beating the other candidates. Our frustrations (if we have any) should be directed towards the director's box, not the touchline.
He should get our full support from the word "go".
I think he may actually be a little gem (after a week of wanting to shoot myself!).Be nice to Minty
