I saw Mark at Leicester on Saturday.
Even wearing a QPR t-shirt on their official website.

    • Sorry if he's already listed... I've gone a bit boss-eyed scrolling through the posts. Anyway, John Barnes went to Rs games as a youngster.
BTW, Denis Wise knocked about with Ladbroke Grove Skinheads in late 70s/early 80s and was 100% Rs. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's been printed several times over the years how distraught he was after attending 82 cup final.

      • Apologies if its been posted, I know a few have been repeated.

Delon Armitage (England & London Irish Rugby Union) is an R. 'Came out' so to speak on Soccer AM a few months back.

James DeGale is and isn't. He's Cookies cousin so he's obligated to us but I think he supports someone else aswell.

There are some hilariously wrong calls here aswell though. Ralf Little??? blatant plastic Manc. Jamie Oliver??? Nope.

What constitutes being a fan? Been to a game, season ticket?? If so that illegal bint Naomi Campbell is a fully fledged hoop. No thanks.

Quite happy with the rockers though. Numan, Smith, Jones etc. The best has got to be Bill Bailey though. Openly admits it in his shows and he is absolutly hilarious to boot.

          • Mick Jones often seen at away games and celebrated with us outside Bush Ranger after Div 1 promotion at open top bus day.

Listen to the end of Clash's biggest hit, London Calling -
"Never felt so much a like, a like, alike" fades out but in my head it carries on "singing the blues" !

He refers to us in a couple of songs by his latest band Carbon Silicon.
'Gangs of England' & a live version of 'Roadrunner', I think.

              • Skimming this thread I imagine most must be done by now. But I didn't see Pete Townshend of The Who mentioned. (perhaps he is being airbrushed out after his cyber-crimes!), But he's defo Rangers. (in fact resty of band are too - Daltry and Entwhistle were nominal R's as all local boys, and Keith Moon adopted Rangers as a Wembley lad), Townshend's even got an album and film called White City which namechecks going to QPR in title song and the film opening titles are over a shot of Smuts.

As I mentioned last time this topic as raised, I think Keira Knightly has said that if she supported football then QPR would be her team. That does for me.

Think it is sorted now but Dennis Wise is defo Rangers. I met him in Boulevards in Ealing after a Rangers game once when he was at Wimbledon. He spotted the Rangers programme in my pocket and came bowling over to ask how we'd got on and talk all things Rangers.

                • you are talking 20 odd years ago, he changed allegance after becoming a chelsea legend for over a decade. remember his kid (who is now on our books) in the shite shirt at wembely etc.
like i keep saying, i heard it with my own ears, and unless hes changed back again, now that his boy is with us, his main team is the blue sc'um along with his neighbour and bessie mate poyet.

You my friend are 100% incorrect. I've known Dennis & older Dennis for many years. I have a business interest 5 mins from Dennis' house in Gerrards Cross. My best pals Mrs is his kids nanny & one of my other pals is his cousin & I can assure you he is a QPR fan.

Has been to a fair few games in a family members box at LR in last few months tailing back to last season.
I concur, Wise is QPR and he is quite free with his tales of terrace punch ups and misdemenours back in the day after a few jars in th Packhorse on a Sunday evening. He also gave me a fascinating insight into his managerial days at Leeds (for which he swore me to secrecy) and a sure fire way of making money by betting on football matches!!
