Evening. New to this site and first post. Michael Nyman sits in South Africa Road and has done for many years. He has big round glasses and once wrote a concerto for Stan Bowles called 'The Final Score'.
Mick Jones also sits in SAR. Used to sit next to my Dad but since they were all evicted for the beautiful people not sure where he sits now. Joe Strummer and the rest of the Clash were Chelsea fans so I can't help but feel that's why he was kicked out the band. He was booted out in Sep 83 which was when we had just come up to the 1st Division and they were in the
2nd. Happy days!
Debbie Harry came to a match in the early 80s I remember which caused much excitement. Vanessa Redgrave has also claimed to have watched us regularly at LR in the early 70s. I used to sit next to Tony Selby, a regular face on 60s/70s/80s TV who had a season ticket for many years.
Oh and Albert Steptoe...
