SirPie - I notice your trailer has been missing for a few weeks.

I'd be interested to see how we currently stand regards 1st, 2nd and 3rd in recent years.

By the way, Adel for me, but it's fair to say we wouldn't be where we are if not for BOTH of them.
Paddy's contribution has been outstanding, along with Derry but Shaun's is harder to quantify due to his lack of Goals/Assists & Clean Sheets.

V hard to compare. Most of Adel's goals you wd say were "self made" (the tap in at Palace being a v rare exception). Cerny/ Camp AN Other keeper wd have kept a fair number of clean sheets, the question is how many of those were ones another Championship keeper wouldn't have kept.

I wd go for Adel on the basis that he has transformed what is - in some respects - a fairly average Championship group of players into virtual Champions-elect. His magic has been the difference. You also can't put a price, points wise, on the value of him tying up three defenders - our other offensive players wd not have scored nearly so many with him not being there, that's even ignoring the huge number of assists Adel can claim.

Very good point Stainrod makes hence why I thought he would be an interesting debate.

A very hard choice but if I had to make a decision Paddy gets my vote for his consistency and general attitude all season
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Too difficult to choose between them. Both have been absolutely superb this season. I think you've also got to consider the roles of Shaun Derry and Alejandro Faurlin, who have made crucial contributions in key matches over the course of the season.

Without Adel, Kenny would have nothing to keep us in games for.
