  • Cardiff City Bottle It Every Season..

So they will be whole more bit nervous than we are, especially if promotion is secured before Saturday.

n 2008 Cardiff made it to the FA Cup Final, where they lost to Premier League Portsmouth.
y finished their Football League Championship campaign as 12th with 64 points in the 2007–08 season.

2008–09 season Cardiff sustained an automatic promotion bid throughout the whole season, only to see a very poor last four games not only dash automatic hopes, but to fall out of the playoff picture too.

Cardiff City drew the most successful graphic at Championship in 2009–10 season. In the play-off semi-final, they met Leicester City. Cardiff advanced to the play-off final after winning 4–3 on penalties following a 3–3 aggregate score over two legs. However, in the play-off final against Blackpool, they lost 3–2 after leading twice in the game.

I recall one season, not so many years ago, where they bottled it less than Rangers!

i wouldn't call losing to a premier league team in the fa cup final 'bottling it'

blackpool had all the momentum going into the play off final, recent history says the team who hit form leading up to the play offs will probabably win it

as for sustaining an automatic promotion bid the whole season only to let it slip in the last 4 games,i really dont want to think about that!

I think if norwich win and reading win that won't be a bad thing for us. Yes it would help if they both lost because we will then be up but imagine the pressure on cardiff. They could be down to 4th and I think if thats the case they will bottle it.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Lets just hope we don't bottle it but when I saw those T Shirts for sale outside the ground before the Derby game, it did cross my mind that who the hell had authorised them to be made and sold BEFORE we were officially up !!!!

So 4 defeats on the bounce having only lost 5 all season? Best if you change your trousers.

                              Why would we bottle it?

Eight points clear with 4 games to go.. Cardiff will love to be where we are.

They will be far more nervous than us, thats for sure.

                              We are top on merit
