    We're uniquely placed to reach into the huge Indian market with the Mittals - if we so desire.
    You haven't been to India have you Nodge?

    It is a potential market, but you should be mindful of these facts:

    Most individuals there have no television, they certainly would not be paying subscription fees to watch QPR.
    They are obsessed with cricket and I never saw anyone kick a ball out there, yet cricket is played on every patch of flat ground.
    They are mostly poor, so would not buy a lot of official merchandise.
    Any football shirts you see out there are fake anyway.

    India is not going to make us rich enough to compete under the new Financial (un) Fair PLay Regs.

      Don't know what to make of that. I thought owning a football club was business nowadays.
      it is casual, new fifa rule will come in soon so i'd go for buiness before passion because sooner or later both will want to move on and attract new buyers, investors etc

      should we be in the prem you've got two west london clubs, one giant (in terms of ground..squad..) that loses hundreds of millions per year and another smaller club..(see above)..ripe for investment with a sound business plan and manageable losses

      niaive maybe but i know what investment i'd be inclined to go for but don't listen to me,

      i'm just a doctor of boredom
      I don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

        You are right at the moment but people were saying much the same about China a decade ago, and now look at it. Agree its not a route to instant wealth but if we can get in there from the start it would give us a real advantage in the decades ahead.

                yeah, the younger generation are already fans of the big 4 and real, barca, ac, etc. but there might be more pride in a club with some indian connection;
                even if there are 10 Liverpool fans for one Ranger, still it's better than nothing.

                        didnt he say he was running the club for entertainment as opposed to business?? there is no money in footballl , it all goes on wages, remember we owe bernie and flavio approx 30 million for the last few seasons in termsof loans they have made to clubs to cover wage bill, the fact hes running it for entertainemnt far better then business, f he would run it as a business on 16-18k fans were not going to go very far even with premier league money
