i was told i look a lot like 'ernie' the old co op milkman as my 'dad' lived in parkhurst!
Probably totally off the track here (well, I'm a woman, innit) but the references to "Rob" and the above post -- well I couldn't help thinking about old Bugsy -- Rob Earnshaw.
A million miles away, no doubt...
Oh, and according to the News of the World we are in talks with Zico, Brazilian legeend, for manager.
More at link below (sorry, couldn't find the thread on how to do the "More here..." thing).
BRAZILIAN legend Zico has emerged as a shock candidate for the vacant QPR manager's job.
Club co-owner Bernie Ecclestone is planning talks with the South American superstar although former Ipswich boss Jim Magilton remains favourite for the post.
He has been in negotiations for the past few weeks - but he is also attracting the attention of Aberdeen. Rangers are stalling on an appointment until they have spoken to CSKA Moscow boss Zico (above), who as a player was likened to Pele and fired 52 goals in 72 games for Brazil.
The 56-year-old has previously managed the Japan national side and Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
It is not the first time QPR have set lofty ambitions - they tried to recruit Zinedine Zidane as boss in 2008.
Thanks Neil.
Mind you, if he scored 52 in 72 games, perhaps we should be signing him as a striker, not manager.
At 56, he'd probably still be quicker than some strikers we've had (mentioning no names).
