Reading at home, down to 10 men, played them off the park 3 - 1, walking out of the ground said to my mates we've just seen the champions

I never properly believed we would do it until Leicester at home

          Derby away.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Derby away was the game that did it for me. Miraculous at the time and showed the team spirit and never-say-die character of the side.

Particularly when the announcement was made that our next championship game is when the "League Leaders travel to Shefield United next Saturday".

For me it was Derby away.

How many false dawns over the years have we seen fritter away with limp, lame defeats?

That Derby game, along with Palace away, showed that this Rangers team don't know the meaning of quit. The team spirit was incredible.

Over the last couple of years we've had good and sometimes almost great players. But we've never really had a TEAM. As showed after Mackie's injury these players have an incredible bond, and Neil has built a top side, with that indefinable, je nais se quoi, grit. When the chips are down they look fate in tha face and say "Bite me"

Sorry, a bit of hyperbole. But we're almost there! Excuse me a little poetic flourish
A blog of my first season ticket, and QPR's return to the Premiership after 15 years

It dawned on me that day we were..... different, this time.

Sheef Utd away ages ago... August? Ripped them apart and 3-0 up after about 25 mins. I know they have transpired to be poor since then but we were awesome - after that I thought few teams would be able to live with us.

I thought we had something a bit special after the Derby game, but it was the Reading away game when I thought to myself "I think we are gonna go up with this team!". I had to give my dad a ring, just to confirm what I had witnessed- "a eureka moment!".
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!
