Berbatov has a bad habit of being lazy, but can turn a game in a split second.

But he does not start every game, take every corner, free kick and most penalties and he keeps the bench warm quite a bit doesn't he, so your point is ?

my point is that the best manager in the premier lets him play his way, so why can't adel, change his game you change the player.

The reason we were able to sign him was because he had a bit of an attitude, didn't pass and work rate was not the best. Under warnock he now does pass...in fact he has played some world class balls this season. He has worked harder this season too. He's young, and no where near the finished article. He's got to work on his set pieces for me but I think we've got the best manager to get the best out of him.

Did I not say that and would AT be happy with sitting on the bench as much as DB does ?

also after one of the games Warnock said he was shocked as he saw adel tracking back, so he does know how to.

wouldn't know, don't know the boy personally, just know he is the best we have and should keep hold of him, he does half what he has this season in the prem then it's money well spent.

Not at all, in the Championship he has been a revelation and a joy to watch, but getting to the prem is one thing, staying there is another. Currently no other team affords one player what we afford AT, so something has to give.

He also said he would fine anyone who passes to him in his own half, so talk is cheap because i don't think he would fine someone if they did pass to him in their own half.

Warno is gonna carry on building the team around Adel for the prem. If we get 2 or 3 quality additions I think we will have a good team to give the prem a run for their money.

As I've been saying for a few weeks when posed with this question, the one big difference between the Premiership and Championship is his absolutely critical it is to keep possession of the ball and make the opposition work to get it back.

This season there's been countless times where Taarabt has tried a trick and lost possession only for Derry/Faurlin to win it back for him. Against the best sides that cannot afford to happen as the Fabregas, Gerrard, Toure, Lampard, Essiens of the Prem won't be hassled and pressure off the ball.

Taarabt will need to learn quickly to offload the ball in deeper positions and let us move it around.

He will also have to put in a full shift defensively along with the other 10 outfielders. We cannot afford to play with 10 men in our 1/3rd of the field as we will be picked apart.

If NW builds the team around Taarabt again and gives him licence to stay upfield then we'll be a great bet to come back down at any odds.

Well said and if he can change like CR did at Man U, he will be in the right track.
