      45,000 v oxford 1986 ( 100,000 capacity at the time)
      30,000 v cardiff 2003 ( 74,000 capacity )
so yer i think we would sell our location being that wembley now seats 90,000
but yesterday's semi man city/utd...86,000+...remember you got to count for segregation. i think the R's could get 35,000 at a push.

Wouldn't make a difference if we were in the PL or not, the turnout would be exactly the same. If the FA Cup Final was in Manchester on Sunday, how many would we take?

          62500 actually

The thing is I think R's fans get far too excited about the size of our potential support and are normally way off the mark.

Whilst we could take 28k to Cardiff we could quite easily end up with 20k at Wembley, we are simply not that big a club. If we reached Wembley on the day it would depend on whether the 15k glory hunters could be bothered to turn up or watch it on the box!

I used to drink in the Guiness club and it was amazing the rangers fans in there who did'nt bother and that was in our prem days
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
