  • Ground Sharing

I read last week that the QPR Football Aid day had been cancelled as the club would have to make ground improvements if we are hopefully promoted but it also seems very strange that no indication of season tickets have been made yet

I wonder if there is a plan for us to ground share for a period perhaps with Fulham and the delay in new prices has to be agreed with another club if we have to share?

Loftus Rd is not ideal by any means but I cannot see what the big deal is in us not being able to play Premiership games in its current condition

Sure I read that is was just the advertising hoardings and possibly better tv camera facilities but cannot see how they can make major improvements for fans as it is

i did here a while back the only stand we could improve ie make bigger is the south africa road stand due to residents and the lighting around other stands.

the money for ground improvements will come in the summer, we have lots of backers, and there is no way in hell we will share with fulham, not after 16 years. A-Boards and camera positions, IE scaffolding, etc, is nothing, it is hardly rocket science. You can put a camera anywhere without scaffolding, too.

Buy all the houses at the back of Ellerslie, build one big stand, new tv area etc, name it the Alec stock stand and we're sorted.

Just think, no more restricted view (well Ellerslie anyway)

Could even re house away fans in the corner if they built it right with separate entrances.

What is Fulham's capacity should that idea materialise?

EDIT; Just checked it & its 25,700 so potentially 7000 extra seats for the new season.

A lot of ££££ for the club & something I'm pretty sure they would think about.
