Do you think England cares about QPR?

I think that 'I vow to thee my country' would be a great National anthem, written about England by a World War soldier.

C'mon guys, it's just Wales, they have never made the world cup since the 50's if anything you should feel sorry for them and give them red and white roses.

You know it really does amuse how much our fans want to wind up the Cardiff fans. I'm pretty confident your're bottle will go if confronted by a bunch of mad flag waving taffies though

I think, then, given you tell us you are not English it is time you step away from this debate is it not?

If you support an English club don't be surprised most of its supporters are English (bar Man U) and don't be surprised that English men and women want to be proud of the day we take to recognise that our englishness binds us. Anyone out the country on the day finds it more symbolic - we are all going to Wales on the day and will be rightly be (a) showing off our englishness and (b) shoving it down the throat of anyone who finds that a problem

A little aggressive don't you think?

I think you'll find it's our support of QPR that binds us. Especially at a QPR game.

Those that attended the Wales v England game in Cardiff recently what was sung by the English supporters, or played before the game for England.

Wales have and played their own, i missed the game so cannot comment.

I know this is a day for club rather than country but it's St.Georges day ffs and we are an English club playing against a Welsh club in Wales on our National Day. Surely people can see that, plus it will wind them up too.
It is outrageous that we have to sing the national anthem of the UK and the other sponging parts of the union we fund, are allowed to sing thier own nationalistic ********.

God Save the Queen IS the English national anthem because England is a part of Britain. I've always supported Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, at least when it comes to sporting events (and paying taxes!). And, I've always thought it a bit of a shame that the feeling isn't reciprocated towards us English. But, I can understand it given the history between the various nations. I just can't understand why English people would dislike people from other parts of Britain. It seems pathetic to pick on the underdog nations, like bullying the small kids at school.

Walesand Scotland are part of Britannia, so why do they sing their national anthem as well ?
