  • Adel Price

Warno reckons Adel will be with us at the start of next term.
Otherwise its 10 big ones. Too cheap me thinks.

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Might be better if Real put a big non refundable deposit down just to shut everyone up so Adel can have one season with us .

Adel is a very good Championship player and largely unproven at top level. He is till learning the game. His current value of 10 million is probably about right. Buying "potential" is always risky and he was bombed out of Spurs.

There was a good point made on Monday's radio show that if we sell Adel now and he fails to get into the the teams at Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea or whoever, he will never get a good move again as top clubs won't touch him if he has been seen to have failed at a top level club. So it may be in the agent's best interest to keep him at QPR for next season where he will get regular starts at top level (30+ as opposed to say, 10) and he will gain experience and people can monitor him in the top flight and, if successful, take a lesser gamble on him and get a big money-spinning move him, the agents and us next year.

Major problem being this summer where speculation over his future could turn his head. He is still prone to that which is why he held out on us last summer waiting for a big club that never happened. Now those big clubs ARE hovering around, he may be tempted to weigh up his options again and give them a go. If his heart isn't with us - despite promises of "staying for Warnock" - next season - then he should go, we should take the money and say thanks very much for the great memories and best wishes. IMO. I don't want to see a sulky player reluctantly playing for us. If he thinks he can do better than fair play, let him leave.

£15+ once hes delivered the goods in the prem!! He's our best asset and we made him what he is today!! With all due respect, the likes of Andy Caroll and Theo Wallcott went for quite remarkable money

Adel will leave in summer and fair play to him. We have had a few threads on this lately and my view has always been the same.

We need to get 10 for him. He "could" be worth 4 or 5 times that in 3 years, so we need to get a very solid sell on clause in any deal.

I've put my bullet proof vest on so here goes...

If they offer 10 million, sell him!! They are buying 'potential' not proven high level quality.
Personally I don't think Adel will make such a huge impact next season, Premiership players wont give him the time, space or respect that he's had this season.
Yes he's been fantastic for us this season, yes he may well have been the catalyst to many a win for us but I still think it would be good business if we cash in on his potential this Summer.

                      Fire away....!! ;)
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                      2015/2016, average at best.....

                      2016/2017, same old, same old....

                      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

                          Warnock should ask for 15
then we can get four quality guys.
10 is too low, if he stays at the start of the season he will gone by January anyway.
                          no doubt about it.

An offer of around £12 mill would be very tempting. He's got two years on his contract so next summer he's going for a lot less than what's he's worth.

I'm hoping we can get him to sign atleast a one year extension as it puts us in a great position if he proves himself in the Prem.
