  • Recreating the Oldham atmosphere on Monday night

It would be great if we could recreate the Oldham semi atmosphere in the ground on Monday night v Derby.

People should aim to get there 15-20 mins before kick off and sing so loud that the hair stands up on the players necks as they walk out on to the pitch.

For all of those that saw QPR get relegated this is our time to celebrate. If we go 1-0 down lets roar the lads onto victory.

We want this even more than the players. Lets let them know that we want it by creating a carnival atmosphere throughout.

        Recreate Oldham?

This is promotion to the premiership, i hope it's better than that. Anyway i can think of one i'd rather recreate v West Brom Highbury 82, also 82/83 Promotion to Div 1.
Obviously you weren't around (same as me with 67) then otherwise you would know what i mean, that's not a dig by the way, none of us can do anything about our age/era.

Nothing beats the 80's, in an ideal world it would return.

I remember arriving at Sheps Bush on the night of Oldham and there was a real buzz around the whole area, i had goosebumps. Inside the ground was something else though.
I was at the away leg, crap game but was happy with the draw.
Bit peed of with Langers for acting the p rat though
