Pre season masterstroke or not?

Looking back now, what a measured pre season Warnock had us on admitedly it coinsided with Neils holidays but the devon, Cornwall leg off the tour worked a treat. Then on to Italy for a few more victories getting the team full off confidence to start the season. Which they did with obvious success. Who thought we were playing beneath ourselves with the likes of Bodmin and Tiverton etc. To be honest not been much a fan of Pre season freindlies but i even thought the opposition was a bit weak. But then again it made a change from being stuffed by Celtic every year. All in all it worked a treat with the boys coming out firing, anyone else a bit dissapointed with the opposition at the time but made to have egg on their face now.

a good pre season, not necessarily just winning, is vital for individual players and teams.

was at bodmin, tavistock, taunton and torquay, was well impressed with NW, but in all honesty did'nt expect the season we're having
