  • riot in cardiff

recently i went to the reading v portsmouth game, and what impreesed me was this amazing site of all these coaches pouring into reading, indeed the only people thaty arrived on train was there heavy mob

we hardly take any coaches anywhere,so lets loomk at cardiff 4 coaches going
these will be policed escorted into the ground and yes will get in and out safely
so thats two hundred fans, another eight hundred are going by car, these should be safe as well.but the 1500 going by train will be so vulerable,im going to suggest that you 1500 go by coaches because it has become t6he safest route to the ground,I REALLY HOPE THERE WILL BE A NIOCE PEACEFULL ENTERANCE
BUT THE CARDIFF FANS MUST SURELY BE ABLE TO ATTACK THE FANS GOING BY TRAIN.....................so like portsmouth we should be sending 34 coaches, imagine how fantastic that looks 34 coaches all showing flags we have got to get more organized..................what do you think fellow rangers am i right or wrong....................lets look after our fans.........

    I think there's 4 OSC coaches, 3 LSA, and 3 or 4 other coaches.
    Around 10 in all.
That's just under a third of who's going -- so you're right, that's over 1000 going up by train or car.
I'd be very surprised if they didn't keep us in after the game for a good 20 mins. or so -- especially if we have been promoted/won the title that day.
Half-expect the coaches to be bricked on their way out of town, too.

Take care everyone -- but remember -- the R's are going up!!!

      well

well you are perhaps the perfect person to speak about safety,i asked vic about coaches getting bricked and he said it dosnt happen any more, but if you are taking your children swanley ,then if the coaches still get bricked you cant use the coaches, are there any qpr fans on here who always use coaches ,am i right in my assumption that coaches no longer get bricked or do they still get bricked

The **** bricked our coach on the way back home from the play off final. These were kids on BMX's if i remember rightly throwing from the walkway over the road.

Even if coaches havn't been bricked for a while, they will be for us I am sure.

Everyone has to be prepared for the day and keep the littleuns away from the windows!

I am going by train with about 8 and cannot wait.

Stand tall and together and you will be alright.

Coaches were bricked on the way back from our last trip to Stoke -- they line up along the A50 waiting for you. Very rare for it to happen, but if it's going to happen anywhere, places like Cardiff and Stoke are the likely ones.
With modern coaches, if they are bricked whilst moving, the bricks just bounce off.
The real damage is done if they get to the coaches while they are parked -- at Cardiff that's not possible.
Not bothered in the least -- a few thuds on the side of the coach never hurt anyone -- probably a few chips on the paintwork.
As Northwood said, just keep the kids away from the windows.

got bricked at Oxford on the train years ago.Admitidley it was a later train as OB kept trying to round us up and put us in the station, only for us to get out again and a couple to "borrow" some bicycles to pop back into town.Loved Oxford away.
