Technically, "shed loads" is the correct answer I'd say
Even though the actual prize money is only 50k, it's the media and sponsorship money that comes rolling in which is the real biggie.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Then you've got all your other cash incentives (tv appearance money -£500k for a Sky/ESPN home game, £125k for an away game - finishing position in the league - £660,000 for finishing bottom and then another £660,000 for every additional place) - sponsorship money *should* also go northwards - if our current contracts with the likes of lotto, Gulf Air, Toyo(?) etc don't have performance bonuses in, I'd be looking to buy them out. A traditional London Premier League club with previous PL history - within sniffing distance of Westfield and Oxford Street, is a very very marketable and commercial entity. If we go up, and stay up for a year, we'd be very very attractive.
edit - plus the new extended parachute payments in the event of relegation. Now is a very very good time to get promoted. The new parachute payments will effectively mean a closed shop of the PL 20 plus 4 or 5 other sides in the Championship using the parachute money to yo yo. That already enormous gulf between the PL and everything below becomes further exacerbated when the new Football League TV deal kicks in at the start of 2012/2013, with less money to distribute amongst their 72 clubs.Last edited by Guest; 13-04-2011, 03:37 PM.

I just wonder....if our fine, (if there is one) will be the same as the prize money for winning the league? Just a thought2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!
