Thought they deserved something from the game last night personally, not an easy away day at all for us.

Don't think they account for the fact that we were nervous - let's face it we are playing for the ultimate prize and a title of course, whereas they had nothing but pride to play for. Also, having suffered that horror show on Saturday, I thought we showed some proper northern grit last night - something the Barnsley fans ought to understand!
The pitch was a factor too, but fair play to Barnsley - they didn't lie down and get their belly tickled after the early goal.
A very hard and well earned 3 points I say.

Love the bit where it says they had 51% possession, wow a whole 2% more, hope they cracked out the champagne to toast that

That was the biggest problem on the night - this season's ball retention has been brilliant as a whole but last night we just kept giving it away

You are right of course - but I have erased the memory of that one from my mind! The thing is both pitches were poor and we played a game "to suit". Ironically, this Warnock team is better at playing football than a typical anti-football Warnock one.
My biggest remaining concern is the state of the pitch at Vicarage Road = cue another painful game.

I walked back to the Premier inn with three Barnsley fans and they said we were the most organised team they had seen at oakwell this season and we did not look like conceding a goal. The Prem inn was a top place with top people working their and will defo stay their again.

Having listened to the game on Radio London last night, which I can only go by how the commentary went, Barnsley just didn't do enough 2nd half to warrant anything from the game and apart from Butterfields shot, they didn't have a shot on target during the 2nd period.
I was expecting a backs to the wall 2nd half but it sounded like we were controlling the 2nd period throughout.

Thought Barnsley looked a decent side.If barnsley had equalised i wouldnt have betted against them going on to win. But we stayed strong and the back four did its job.
dont actually remember Kenny having a save to make. (He may have done but i was well oiled)

most of the posts on there were biased aprat from 1 or 2. The one below is about the best non biased one.

QPR did what they had to do, they scored from their first attack then saw the game out without conceeding. I just wish we had the ability to do that in away games. The only time we threatened their goal the entire match was when Butterfield hit the post.

Don't tell me we had far more shots on target, because Kenny has had more difficult back passes to deal with. They didn't threaten our goal because they did not need to, as they comfortably defended for most of the match.

As for the ref, apart from the pen. he gave us pretty much everything else. He got the yellow card right as it was descent not violent conduct. He kicked out at the air not a player.

So overall I didn't think we did enough to get something, for that you have to score and we couldn't.

It's all very well having 5 attempts on target, but if they have no power or accuracy they are not much of a threat.

Perhaps if they didn't try and kick lumps out of Taarabt or if the ref had booked a few of the challanges, he wouldn't have kicked out. The above poster recognises that the reaf gave them practically every decision going.

Barsnley came at us and for the whole game and credit to them for that. We did what we had to do and got the 3 points, not how i would have like because i was stressed the whole game! But the ref was a joke it was as if he knew he'd upset the barsnley fans in the first half and tryed all second half trying to make it up to them. Roll on monday and promotion to the premership!

Think it is nerves kicking in. Should be fine once we have secured promotion.

Barnsley played fairly well and perhaps were unlucky BUT they are also a dirty side and as for the ref and his assistance say no more
