  • Box office changed loyalty points so couldn't get Cardiff and Watford tickets...ahhh

    Hey,

First time poster to the board and sorry to be moaning and asking for help on the first message.

Was buying 3 tickets for myself, my Dad and a friend today and we all have the required points to buy for Cardiff and Watford from today.

Got them fine for myself and Dad but the box office had knocked 20 points off my mate who renewed his season ticket, but has been marked as a new season ticket holder so got 50 rather than 70.

He had checked his total at the beginning of the month and had the mistake rectified by the box office however unbeknown to him until this morning when logging in he saw they had taken those 20 points off again later on the day of the change. So he's now 6 points short and as we both were directed to Ticketmaster this morning there was nothing they could do.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm happy I have my ticket sorted but gutted for my mate if he now misses out to some error. He's kept calling but unless he gets through to the box office he's not going to be able to have this changed.

Again apologies for the moan on a first post just gutted for my mate who might now miss out on the big day. Apart from the usual number we’ve been trying and box office email does anyone recommend a way round this?

No, unless you can find someone who has enough points b ut who isn't going and is willing to get that ticket for you.
I'm in the same position -- have had mine, Dan's and Josie's tickets sine the first day, but cannot get a ticket for hubby as he isn't a member, and, although he's been to most game this season, including away games, has no loyalty points at all, so cannot get him one.

If anyone can get tickets for me or the person who started this thread, please let us know!!
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

was your mate an early bird season ticket holder? I think it was 50 points for a season ticket and an additional 20 for an early bird

Ah sorry forgot it's 71 today so he's 7 short. He has been to Pompey and Millwall away games and Port Vale cup so should be on 84 as he renewed.

On the loyalty points page it says 70 for a renewal, 50 for new but as you mention Vish it may have been only 70 if he was an early bird renewal which I'd have to check as he renewed separately from myself and my Dad.

Really wish we had double checked our loyalty points on Friday now!

Thanks for the help and good luck for everyone else trying to get theirs today/this week.
