Connolly lost his place after a below par performance when he came on as a sub against Leicester.

1st goal - Shittu and Hall both not communicating with each other. Gave the guy a free header. Should have know they are not good together after Millwall

2nd goal - Comedy of errors at the back. Hall lost a header........again.

3rd goal - Just a great striker but should have cleared our lines.

4th goal- Hill's fault. Just clear it!


So let's see on Tuesday if Warnock treats all the players equally by dropping some of the back 4 who were poor yesterday like Hall and Shittu. Connolly at least didn't mess up and give a goal away!

Well I hope it's Gorks and Connolly. The pairing that got us into a great position this year. They compliment each other well.

Gorkss and Connolly to come back both have been brilliant this season and are our best centre half pairing.

Even though Hulse scored but I would like to Heidar or Miller come in

I know people will say that dropping him lost him his confidence, but he was looking increasingly hesitant before he was dropped.

Well, that's the only thing which would cast doubt on the illness thing.
Unless he's been ill, and recovered in the main, but not enough to play a full 90 minutes. Even so, we would need subs to be 100% too, so...

Otherwise, the decision to drop him is a very strange one.
